My 10 SL Firsts!

1. First SL Friend: Lynara Danick. 
2. First SL Kiss: Have no idea. I spent a lot of time at nude beachs though. So probably someone there.
3. First SLex time/place/partner: Look above lol
4. First SL Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband: "Dated" a few guys. A DJ at a vampire club who had a wife in RL who also played SL but apparently wanted to date others too. A wolf, who was friends with one of my besties partner. That all went downhill though when I found out about his weird fetishes. And then I was partnered with my RL boyfriend. But he no longer gets online so that's it.
5. First SL Job: Stripper at Club Delirium. Lynara got me the job. But there was a lot of office politics going on and it went all downhill from there.
6. First SL Creation: Ummm I made a pose once and a body pillow to go with it. But handed it off to Caly to make it better lol. I think she ended up sending it out as a group gift or something like it.
7. First Encounter with a Linden: Never. I may have seen one onetime, but never talked to them.
8. First Encounter with a SLebrity: Ummm first? Probably Olaenka of oOo Studio. A lot of creators and musicians used to hang out at a certain coffee shop. 
9. First SL Sim you fell in love with: Ummm. Have no idea. Probably Route 66.

changes...woah oh oh... changes

There's a new round at The Attic going on right now with the theme of Changes. Whimsy Winx hit the spot with this amazing changing room. I always hated trying on clothes in RL. Trying on different sizes of everything, finally realizing that you're not gonna fit into the smallest one, becoming hot & claustrophobic in the small room, and eventually crying out in frustration and running to the nearest Cinnabon or Auntie Anne's. But here I get to be an XXS or XS with standard sizing. As I was about to take this picture, I looked at my default hands and grimaced. I decided right then and there I would run over to SLink to try out her mesh hands. To be honest I didn't want to plunk down over 1000L for just one pair. But was happy to realize that she has over a dozen individual hands for sale only 400L each! I bought her Casual set since I figured that's what I'll be wearing everyday. But I'm not the brightest and had to shout out for help. Siddean immediately jumped up to whip me into shape. So I wanted to give a big shout out to her in helping me through my blonde moment. :)

Get Annoyed

So I actually thought it was gonna be really hard to do

Berry's Pet Peeves meme without overlapping everything she said. 

Then I started sim hopping around and really looking at the 

people around me. Yea it was pretty easy after that. It's hard to believe 

that after 10 years of SL people still walk around like this. I would say that after maybe 6 months you really should start getting the hang out of. And 

not still buy everything at Freebie Paradise. I was lucky when I first arrived that I met a good friend who gave me L and took me around to buy better stuff. I don't know if these people just don't want to put any RL money into

SL or all they do is hop around the sex clubs. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

My SL Pet Peeves

1) Yeah, pretty much EVERYTHING in this picture. No photoshop involved. I took it exactly as I see others do in their profile. It's 2013, but you wouldn't know it. From the old Flexi hair to the prim pointy boots. (And yes, I do remember this outfit, pretty sure I wore it my first couple of days.) And to top it off old skin and no AO.

2) Now I didn't mention the shape above cause that deserves it's own bullet point. I'm so tired of the fucking frown, big tits, and pony hips. It's not attractive at all. In fact I usually think they are guys behind the computer who put together what they think a woman should look like.

3) Designers putting me on the blogger subscribo without even asking.

And it's always new stores who use templates. For once I would love if I was

all of a sudden on say Hucci's blogger roll. But nope, it's always someone who just typed "blogger" in search and added everyone that came up.

4) Now this is a sore subject i know. Baby-talk. I get it if you want to relive your childhood through SL. That's all cool. My problem is 2-3-4 year olds who not only do the baby-talk, but they also form complete thoughts and sentences. No that shit doesn't happen. I barely understand a toddler in RL, so why can I for the most part understand you? And on the same subject: People who don't know how to spell!?! I'm talking about the people where English is their first language. I swear if I see one more person speak "ghetto talk" I will summon up Shakespeare from the dead to bitch slap them.

5) Last one: False vendor ads. I know I touched on this on the last post. But I know I'm not alone in hating the owners who photoshop the hell out of it to where the item is no longer recognizable. I'm talking about skins & clothes. I understand you want them to look good, but when I buy something I want

 it to look like the picture. 

And that's it for now. But those are definitely my biggest ones.

Fantasy Faire is back!

It's almost half over, but you still got til the 28th to go

 see the amazing sims they laid out for us. I really

wanted to take some pictures there but unfortunately

for me nothing was rezzing on my end. I got a couple of outfits

but the second one did not look the way I thought it would.

Just another reason why I hate vendors that photoshop

the hell out of their items. But on the bright side this Queen's Dress by 22769 

is just as beautiful as I thought it was gonna be. And I think it looks great

paired with Emo-tions RFL item Sunburst in Fantasy Red. I added White Widow's Taurus eye makeup from Zodiac's new round to make 

my eyes pop a bit as well.

Ah I remember the good old days of MySpace. Being able to 

go on Google and finding a pre-made layout that showed your true 

personality (sarcasm). Whether it be a background full of Playboy Bunnies or 

Gucci logos, or even an expensive Ferrari that you're pre-teen heart just

could not afford. Mafia Wars & Vampires ruled. And leaving comments on friends pages with horrid glittery herpes ridden gifs. Yes, that site will always have a special place in my heart, but times are a-changing. And with that let's get on to the questions.

lol my rl facebook. Although I am a Republican. There are still a lot of their views I don't agree with. And ALL my family are hard-core republicans to the point they believe everything they see and read on the internet that is bad about Obama. I like to troll them and when I see some Anti-Obama meme that I know is wrong. I comment on it to let them know it's bullshit.

Yes definately. It is a great way to reach out for help also.

Promotion & networking mostly. I try to update about what I think or what's going on. But no one ever replies so I stopped for the most part.

have been wanting to put together a maternity photo for awhile now.

So when I saw Barerose Tokyo's Maternity Thalia, I knew I could pull it off.

Where was the first place you made friends as a newb and got to know people in Second Life? haha that would be at a vampire sim. i got talked into being a blood doll, and as I was being shown around the place I met my bff Lynara who was not into the vamp thing. She took me around and showed me what skin and hair was the best (at the time Redgrave & Damselfly). Also met my good friend Josette, who does not get on any longer, but we still speak through FB.
3. Where do you spend most of your SL time now? My land, usually on my pose stand. Either that or hopping around to events.
4. Who is your closest friend in Second Life? (only pick one)    Eeva :) I met her while doing GFW. I noticed her tag first that said the same city where I live. I asked her if she did happen to live there, and she said no but her & her hubby were planning to move right down the street from me. We met in RL and have been friends ever since. :)
5. What is the most favorite thing in your inventory? (only pick one) Oh god.. I actually don't keep a lot of stuff, after it's blogged, I toss it. Unless it's a basic like jeans. But I do keep most make-up. I can't live without Sauce's lashes.

7 SL Facts

Ever since MySpace I've always been a huge About Me Junkie.

I love filling out questionnaires, forms, etc. Even in my day-to-day

life. Medical forms, job applications, you name it. I'm really

sad I didn't find out about Berry's memes earlier, but have decided 

to start them from the beginning anyway. So let's begin with:

Seven SL Facts About ME

1) I have a tendency to hide and go offline for a couple months at a time.

Not for any particular reason. Sometimes I'm trying to catch up on books, tv shows (I once left to read and watch every single True Blood episode to catch up and recently did the same for Game of Thrones). Sometimes I'm just not feeling right and I need to just shut everything off and be alone for awhile. And I know that's ok to do for one's own well-being.

2) I don't like messaging my friends online, because I always feel like I'm

bothering them. Same in RL, it's very rare that I'll even text someone. I'm very shy and it's hard for me to start up conversations with anyone.

3) Even though I'm not a designer, and I have absolutely no idea what it takes to make something brand new I can be very judgemental, but I try not to be. I wouldn't want someone to see my pictures and say they're crap, but I tend to do that a lot when I see clothing that I don't like. But I guess everyone has their opinion.

4) SL is my shopping escape. I filed for bankruptcy a few years ago and can't go on the shopping trips like I used to. Now I can go online and buy almost anything with less money than it takes to buy one shirt at target.

5) I love going to the sex sims and trying to start an orgy lol. 

I get nothing out of it except a few good laughs.

6) I have no imagination whatsoever when it comes to roleplay 

and I admire the people that do.

7) For the most part I will always find SL kids creepy. But I do have a couple friends that are and I find them good people. I know there a few bad apples out there that take it to the weird side but I will now hold all judgement until proved otherwise.

I really miss being a kid. Playing bike tag during the day

aren't here today. To not make the same mistakes again.
